This is the first shloka class my child has attended. Since it is in konkani  it instills the love for the language especially for people living abroad.

They get connected to holiness and learn about their divine self as well. Once children understand spirituality right from childhood, they take the right path in every situation they face.

My son recites the shloka everyday which has definitely improved his focus. This helps spread peaceful vibrations in the house. He keeps humming the shlokas even while he is playing.

Chanting Shlokas  include honoring the earth, praying for the peace and harmony of all the people in the world. In my opinion understanding life and existence will never let my child feel depressed or pull his moral down which I could achieve through these classes.

The teachers are very dedicated and ensure the kids learn the shloka with correct pronunciation.

They give in depth meaning of each Avatar and their  importance.

I am very happy with the teachers and the classes.

Bal Utsav has been a great experience to our kids in gaining knowledge and being connected to the Indian culture. The planning, dedication and patience of the faculty members is simply commendable especially considering the different age groups and different time zones of the kids attending. Besides reciting the shlokas, the drawing, writing and other interactive activities (such as quiz, Pictionary etc.) ensures the kids are engrossed and encourages participation. The Baal Utsav classes for kids are full of knowledge and positive thinking for young minds . It helps our kids to gain enormous knowledge about our tradition and our culture. My daughter have learnt all the verses of Geeta Mahatmya , Damodhar Astakam and now she is learning Dashavataaram Stotram under the guidance of Sakhi Charan mathaji. She also enjoys the pastimes of Krishna . She eagerly waits for Sunday to learn new verses from Saki Charan Mathaji and the new stories and games every week related to mythology by Rasavati mathaji.  Since the classes are conducted in our mother tongue; kids are also learning to speak flawless Konkani.
